Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation.
As a Reliability Engineer, you will plan, direct, and support Production, Project, and Maintenance activities to enable equipment, systems and facilities are operated in a safe, efficiently and reliable manner while meeting GMP and regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities include:
Provides engineering and troubleshooting support with the goal to increase operational efficiencies and minimize maintenance expenses.
Coach technicians on troubleshooting technical problems.
Provides engineering support to both corrective and preventive maintenance.
Provide support on installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment instruments that comply to site change control procedures.
Manages maintenance related project schedule, costs and quality utilizing proper controls
Ensures that projects deliverables are met and all associated documentation is established
Provides engineering support in the scoping, development, execution and documentation of upgrade projects.
Performs job assignments by Supervisor pertaining to equipment/ instrument or system or documentation or housekeeping
Development of technical procedures associated with areas of responsibilities
Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable
Supervise and oversee Third Party Contractors, where applicable
Any other duties as and when assigned by the Managers
Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering
3 - 5 years of related experience in maintenance function
Good knowledqe of cGMP and safety regulations
Demonstrates a knowledge of Engineering and Compliance standards
Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills ie provides solutions which are practical for implementation.
Able to properly assess the situation and understand when to escalate to a higher levels
Knowledge in root cause analysis, able to analyze information from a variety of sources to make sound decisions
Ability to work independently
