Associate Manager – Hiring for 2020

Opportunities to engage in joint business planning with trade customers to achieve strong distribution, in-store presence and merchandising plans for P&G Brands
Responsibility in implementing P&G initiatives especially in new product launches with speed and excellence
Responsibility in managing and optimizing promotion funds to drive business growth in key accounts
Exposure in quality coverage planning to ensure operational efficiency

A Human Resources practitioner is responsible for building people and leadership capability, developing an adaptive and competitive organization and creating a productive environment to deliver increased business results and competitive advantage for the Company. To fulfill this responsibility, the HR Manager plays four roles: Business Partner, Change Agent, Employee Champion, and Administrative Expert.
As business partner, the HR practitioner works with business leaders to create business strategies, deploy them to the organization, and create the environment and systems needed to support their delivery. As change agent, the HR practitioner works with business units driving change and managing transformation as part of creating a culture needed to deliver our business strategies and ultimately competitive advantage. As administrative expert, the HR practitioner delivers fundamental work processes of HR to ensure people across the Company are not distracted, and operations are not disrupted by important issues related to plans, policies, or complex work associated with corporate programs. And finally, as champion of employees, the HR practitioner works to support, develop, enable, and empower people in P&G to create the environment for productivity and satisfaction
As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will have full responsibility for your brand including the business results. You will have to engage with multi-disciplinary teams (including Sales, Finance, Product Supply, Advertising, and Media Agencies) to develop top strategies for your brand's success.
You will lead a mix of Marketing and Brand Management projects enabling you to show the breadth and depth of your leadership. We are looking for people aren't afraid to take smart risks and innovate.
Your responsibilities include:

Consumer Market Knowledge
CMK represents the voice of the consumer within the company, pulling the consumer to the center of the company's business decisions. You will absorb consumer, market and/or customer/shopper and business understanding and research skills.
Business contributions will include:
Integrating consumer and shopper understanding, market data and forecasting approaches to identify where to play and how to win.
Driving company understanding of how to optimize market elements to build brands. This includes:
(a) Identifying consumer/shoppers needs and wants
(b) Evaluating consumer's assessment of our products and advertising (including in-store)
(c) Monitoring the market position and equities of our brands
Ensuring that internal business partners know what consumers and/or shoppers/customers are saying by proactively seeking, analyzing and sharing learning so as to impact company strategic directions.
Business analysts at P&G drive better decision-making and transform how P&G operates by influencing the key strategic decisions of General Management and by embedding analytics into our core work processes. The majority of business analysts are advisors to P&G’s senior leadership (General Manager’s +) keeping them abreast of current market & competitive dynamics and informing their on-going understanding of 1) our ability to deliver our business goals, and 2) how we should allocate our investments across our GM’s portfolio (markets & brands) of businesses to deliver the greatest returns.

Analytic skills are the foundation of this role. The ability to mine terabytes of data, derive actionable insights, and then translate those insights into business action is critical in our work. As a Senior Business Analyst, your will transform the business to enable better decision-making through the usage of advanced analytics. You will be the business’s primary evangelist for the power of predictive analysis and develop business cases to illustrate the “step-change” in decision-making that occurs when you begin to anticipate what will happen, versus just reflecting on what has occurred.
Business Analysts at P&G need to be effective communicators, self-motivated, and able to drive insights into actions that improve P&G’s business results. Business knowledge, interpersonal /communication skills are therefore a must to thrive in a multifunctional leadership team. Your job is to communicate complex data or algorithms into simple conclusions that will empower leadership to drive action based on the insights you derive.
P&G Business analysts “get their hands dirty”, leveraging data visualization (Spotfire), and analytic tools (R, SAS, JMP, etc) to grasp the business building insights in our mountains of data. You should be adept at leveraging such technologies for solving ad hoc business problems, innovating on potential future solutions, and working with technology partners to translate your innovations into robust, scaled, analytic solutions.

You will learn how to find meaningful ways to integrate design thinking and conceptualization into Front End Innovation programs.
With a focus on design innovation, the Industrial Design role will translate deep consumer understanding into robust and meaningful design solutions that meet key business objectives. These roles require superior visualization skills and the ability to rapidly prototype design ideas for use in consumer testing & internal alignment.
